    How to install and activate the app?

    Start by downloading the latest .apk from our website. Installing the app might require enabling the option of installing from unknown sources. Use the register form on our website and you'll receive an activation code on your provided e-mail. Enter your login code using the app login option and wait for the app to load. In case of issues, please feel free to contact us using the following e-mail: help(at)beep-beep.eu

    Expired activation code?

    If your activation code from sign up expired, use the sign up form with your existing e-mail again. You can use whatever name you like, the activation code will be regenerated and sent to the e-mail you provided. If you're not seeing the activation code in your inbox, make sure to (double) check your spam folder as well!

    Info about android requirements

    In order to use the app, the app needs permissions to get your location. If you're just using the app to catch a ride, the app will let you find drivers nearby with just the approximate location enabled. To ensure a better experience, we encourage letting the app access your precise location.

    Known issues

    App fails to get GPS location:

    Ensure the app has location permissions enabled and your device has location service turned on. Close the Beep Beep app, open the default maps app, let the maps app locate you! Restart the app again and your location should be shown.

    Using the app (driver mode)

    Due to the underlying tech used to make the app, the app is currently limited, meaning it has to run in the foreground, with the screen remaining on and the app being open. Should you wish to share your location to matched users (as well as receive new offers), we encourage you to (re)use an old device to avoid the inconvenience. We're working on resolving this limitation and will hopefully release an updated .apk soon!

    Becoming a driver

    To become a driver (offering rides to others), you will need to verify your phone number, as well as submit your drivers license and a selfie. We're taking this step to help prevent malicious acts, keeping our users safe during their usage of our service.
